Hey NH guys, before I get flamed, let me explain my story. I am 4th generation to have had a house in Jackson NH, both my parents grew up there. My mom used to be a NH resident, my father was not. My family owns a house in Jackson where I spend every weekend in the winter and often visit the other seasons. I have always wanted to live there and even thought about getting NH plates on my Jeep. Now I am sorry if I offended any locals(I live in a tourist town in LC so I know how annoying tourist can be). But here is another thing. I am going to college in New Hampshire so I will finally be "living" in NH. That is just another reason to pursue this.
So what are the requirements to become a resident of NH? I want to switch residency. NH license, Jeep registration, what else? Or is this a bad idea I should stay away from?

Generally speaking, residency requires that you actually live in the state for a certain number of months per year. Some states also have special conditions for college students.

Yes, which is why I asked because JF knows everything and I couldn't really find an answer online. I was going to post in GD but I thought posting in the NH area would be better. And thank you
