Is that a K&N filter? Maybe it's carb approved. If it is, you may be able to get by.

Smog, Smog, Smog the Jeep. Pray that it will pass.
My green pig is up for smog again so I took it to my usual guy, filled out paperwork, gave him the keys, etc.
He comes over a few minutes later, "Do you have the certificate for that air cleaner?"

Says he can't smog it without a certificate for my air cleaner or the original one back in. Didn't charge me but wouldn't even run the test. Bugger.
I thought that a different air filter wouldn't matter for smog? Should I just find a different shop to test it? Right now I can bolt the stock box back in kinda-sorta, but some of the trimming I have planned will prevent that.
