Solid bumper, good clearance, and a winch mount. What more could you ask for?

Nice, great looking, good price

But rust quickly :(

I got there Classic Rear swing out bumper. I believe this is a good product, regardless of what many say about smittybilt. The mounting point are strong and the spindle for the swing out is easy to grease via a zirk fitting ontop the spindle.

Pros Solid bumper, nice styling, integrated winch plate
Cons Heavy, slight fitment issues
Recommended yes

Comments: Got bumper for my 2012 JK 2dr. Overall went on easily but the four fixing bolts on the bottom of the integrated skid did not hit the front crossmember to allow bolting (this is a common issue for all 2dr JKs with this bumper). Not too big a deal the other bolts all line up and secure bumper very well. The other issue I had was the Warn 9.5 cti would not fit as it hit the corner of the front rail. This was fixed by trimming the corner down with a sawzall. Some may not want to do this to their jeep but I see no ill effects from this minor trim. I've seen other winch plates that require similar trimming of both rails. On the positive side the bumper and winch plate do not require the relocation of the vacuum pump. Overall a good bumper at a good price. Yet to see how it stands up ot abuse though.

Pros heavy duty, shackles, light tabs
Cons non
Recommended yes

Comments: I have used this thing as an anvil and not a dent one! I hit a deer a few years back and not a dent! even a few rocks have not even scratched or dented or even dinged this beast! I do recommend putting some thread locker on the shackles' to prevent them from backing out from the vibrations.
Other than that I have no issues with this beast! plan on getting the matching rear bumper soon.

Pros clearance, steering box tie in, shackle mounts
Cons weight
Recommended yes

Comments: excellent clearance. I love the bull bar for winch protection and light bar mounting- I actually have mine mounted below for added protection (although it makes the winch spool not as easily accessed- my doing, not smittybilts)

Solid clevis points, excellent jack points.

Cons are limited to- difficult to reach your winch mounting bolts, but who messes with those frequently?

Also, the weight of it. If you buy this bumper, buy HD rate springs, or plan on getting 1" taller springs in the front. It's a heavy pig.
