you could do either, i had the radiator drop brackets laying around from a BL, so i used them.

plus it was 1:30 in the morning and i was trying to get things wrapped up to go wheeling in the morning

I plan on doing some work to the skid over the next couple days, i'll document everything i do to the skid

tight fit is an understatement, its a game of millimeters.

i'm gonna get with Matt, at UCF, and make sure his will fit. only spot i'm worried about is the spot where the engine skid meets the TC skid. it has to be long enough for the bolts to mount past the trans pan.

or I may just make my own

You're rig is looking great! Cant wait to see all the new mods in person. I lowered mine the other day. Its now on currie 3" springs and will soon have rokmen's 1/2" BL for the tummy tuck. I'll be sitting at roughly 3.5" lift total. I'll have to check my actual measurements versus stock tho. I'm hoping actual measurements are even lower.

I'm close to pulling the pin on the tummy tuck this weekend though! You're TT install gave me the kick in the tush to get it done. I can't wait to wheel again!

people exaggerate with lift sizes to fit x size tire. I have also bumpstopped properly until I change shock mount positions and highline my front fenders

i did the math and liked what i got
you can run 31's stock
33 is 1" over 31's when considering the wheel well gap
35's are 2" over 31's, so a 2" lift is all thats really necessary, add the 1.25" BL to get the added clearance for a wider tire that would be slightly higher than a 10.5" tire when fully stuffed.

When i change my shock mounts for more uptravel, i will need to high line my fenders or trim the flares. you don't need a 4" lift to clear 35's, but it isnt a bolt on package either

check out the first pic in the third post in this thread, the white walls, hehehe. I picked those up cheap just to check fit. 305/70r16 procomp mud terrains.

And ya Dustin, i'm right there with ya. cliffs will be fun, especially with the skid, but badlands will be great. Still have some welding and fine tuning before I am ready

snagged this off CL for cheap, its got some cosmetic damage but works fine so far and free spools well. PO said it was rebuilt a year ago but i havent put it under load yet. not sure on the rope and i've located a new shell for the damaged fins thats only $60. I think I got a good deal, even if I have to replace the rope
