Hahaha, I grew up in Beaufort. We're not too close to Savannah but about 2 hours away. Warner Robins Jeep Club: http://wrjeepclub.comim from beaufort sc its pretty close just over the sc border im in savannah all the time.
Hello! finally, someone else who lives in Brunswick that is a fellow JFer.I'm an hour south of Savannah in Brunswick, GA.

I have not been there, but from what I've seen online and heard about, it's just a big mud pit for bogging trucks. However, they advertise "miles of trails" on their website. I'm betting one would be let down by these so called "trails."Have either one of yall brunswick guys been to east coast off road park. In hortense?
I'm from the area and I've been to Big Nasty. Although mud is primarily what they do, I too don't enjoy getting muddy and stuck if I'm trying to crawl most of the time. They have some fun areas that you can crawl. Don't expect rocks of course but the hills and ditches are fun. I take my DD so I can say that with a mild lift and all terrains I had fun.Reviving this ancient thread and seeing what pops up.
I'm just 15 minutes from the GA line on the SC side and have spent mucho time in the Savannah area over the years.
I just picked up a stock '06 TJ Sport and am starting a mild DD build, the usual lift/tires/bumpers, primarily a commuter but a weekend casual trail rider.
I was hoping that someone who sees this might fill me in on Big Nasty. It seems interesting from what I can see on FB but like some others here, I'm not really interested in mud bogging. Its a short drive from here to Effingham, one I'd definitely make even if just to check it out. Any insights would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave
