The drop brackets were a breeze to install; and leveled out my short arms to nearly flat; pretty good for a 4.5" lifted XJ.
Before the brackets each bump it was going to tear the jeep apart, now with the flat angles I float right over em. I justified purchasing these because my XJ is my daily driver, 95% pavement. If this were a secondary trail rig I'd definitely consider long arms instead; as the brackets do eliminate a considerable amount of clearance.
However that doesn't take away from how well they work. If you put these on a rock crawler of course you're going to complain about em. If you daily your jeep to work your kidneys will thank you.
