Hi,

I've been struggling with the rear hatch rattling on my 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. It's driving me crazy! I temporarily fixed it by placing a felt furniture pad over the bump stop, but then the sound came back when the weather turned cold. If I add anything else on top of the bump stop, the lift gate won't close properly.

I'm not sure if there's a way to tighten the latch mechanism? I can seem to find any screws or nuts to tighten.

Are there any solutions that I should try?

put plastic tubing in the weather stripping. had that with my excursion. the weather stripping is just worn out
