Rear end

I have 35's but want to get a upgraded rear end first. I was looking for used Dana 44 but can't find any locally. I found some 8.8's one geared 3.73 and one 4.10. My stock gears now are 3.73 front and rear. If I get the 4.10 would I have to re gear the front axle? Or should I get the 3.73 rear end and re gear them later on?

If you plan on engaging 4wd you'll need to regear. If it were me I'd keep the front driveshaft removed until the gears were the same.
