I’m about to replace the rear differential yoke on my 09 Rubicon. A standard yoke is about $70. But, Yukon makes a stainless yoke for about $260. What am I gaining by going stainless??

Why? Did you break the stock one? 190 US more then stock. Not all these type parts are needed but more about marketing. I replaced all my pinions when i went to after market shafts. That way there are standard parts for 1310 U.

I clicked on your link, and also went to the Yukon Gear and Axle site. I didn't see it mentioned as being made of stainless steel. Did you see it somewhere and I missed it?

If staying with stock driveshafts, stay stock. If going aftermarket, buy a yoke that matches the u joint in it but I don't see the need for stainless. I have taken out a 1310 on a rock at the rear yoke, didn't touch the cast yoke. The straps will go before the yoke ears.
