I bought a 2002 4.7 out of a liberty and am trying to put it into my 2005 GC limited everything went I. Fine the old motor had a egr as the 02 does not everything else plugged I. Just fine however now it cranks but won’t start. I’ve replaced the crank and cam sensor and checked all the coils wires ect… but get no spark from the plugs those are new as well. I’m stumped can anyone help with this?

I think the tone wheels for the cam and crank sensor are different. Pretty sure 2002 Liberty was somewhat unique in that regard. Might want to pull the valve cover and check. I am also thinking you meant 3.7?
No sir I meant 4.7 v8 and yes it seems the tone wheel is diferent what can I do to make this work can I swap the harnes and the pcm out and get spark or will I have to tear down a good motor to change the tone wheels?
