Traded my 2000 TJ with a cracked frame for another XJ. I missed the feel of driving an XJ and hated how unsure of itself the TJ felt on the road.

'00 XJ Sport. 8.5" Rusty's lift, shackle relocation brackets, IRO long arms, Bilstein 5100 shocks, JCR front bumper, 12k winch, bushwhacker flat flares, Logan's Metal Products read bumper, full disc brake conversion, one ton steering, 4.56 gears and an auto locker up front.

Plan on replacing the front bumper with one with more aggressive approach angles, lowering it down to either 5.5" or 6.5", tummy tucking it, and armoring the sides, quarters, etc.

220k but you'd never tell. Interior is in good shape, everything works, engine and tranny are both golden and the rockers, doors and quarters are completely solid and rust free.

Trying to figure out what to do for sway bar links. Anyone still have a link the write up of the guy who custom made links? I don't understand why anyone would lift an XJ 8.5" and DD it without a swaybar. Junkyard has the bar for 20 bucks so I'll be picking that up tomorrow.

Also trying to figure out what I want to do armor wise.

Fair enough, me either. I got a great deal on it though. My TJ was in bad shape and was never going to pass inspection by the end of April.

Just ordered an ultra gauge for the XJ as well.

Yeah. That much lift on an xj is like a cow with giraffe legs. There are very few rigs that benefit from so much lift. Only one that i know of and that's AKIQAlaska's. I'm sure there are more though. But are they purpose build tundra stompers, or mudpark cruisers?
