Pros Rides great!
Cons only had it a week so far

Comments: 2006/ limited/ 4.7 v8/ 2.5HD OME lift/ Q2
This lift is great for an everyday driver. I have Rubicon factory takeoffs BFG 265-70-17 with 1.5in spacers. Pinch weld mod is needed front and rear. Went from just over 20mpg to right at 18mpg (but I drive 60mph every where I go). The spare fits under when its deflated.

Pros easy install, very well made, have not sagged after three years of use.
Cons I wish they made a 3.5" version
Recommended yes

Comments: I installed this lift myself over 3 years ago. I started out on 31" tires and no armor. The Jeep now sits on 35's, is fully armored, full size spare, wife, baby, dog, and gear. I wheel the piss out of my Jeep and these coils and shocks hold up great. The ride is better than stock. The shocks are the sport version and they eat up large bumps like nothing. The smaller cracks and bumps in the road are more noticeable, but it doesn't bother me any. Very happy with OME.

Pros Awesome, ride is amazing, lift looks awesome.
Cons Slightly more than your average garage mechanic can do at home. Front springs extremely strong, had to use wall mount compressor to resemble struts.
Recommended yes

Comments: I would choose this over a spacer lift every time. Not only do you get the desired height and ride but you also get fresh springs shocks and struts to help prolong the life of the suspension and vehicle. It's the same install time and procedure to do either one so it's worth the extra five hundred bucks. Would have done UCA if I could have afforded it.

Pros Variable springs, dual rate. Good for a constant load and towing. Kit came with the older style N series twin tube shocks. ADD-A-Leaf available.
Cons None I can think of
Recommended yes

Comments: Draw Tapered & Diamond Cut Leaves: Ensure the load is progressively distributed over a larger surface area, reducing the high stresses that develop at leaf ends. This provides increased ride quality and protection against leaf breakage, significantly increasing the spring life.
Bolt Clamps & Liners: The leaf clamps are bolted to allow installation of anti squeak nylon liners.
Fully Scragged & Load Tested: Scragging ensures the spring takes a permanent 'set' which reduces the risk of sagging. Load testing ensures the spring meets the required specification.
Graphite Coating: To further reduce the friction between the spring leaves & friction pads.
Military Wrap: Designed to provide added safety.
Anti Friction Pads: Regreasable nylon interleaf liners reduce friction at the leaf tips where the load is the greatest.
Flat Axle Seat Area: Allows a positive, safe axle mount reducing spring stress & increasing spring life.
Shot Peening: The tension side of all leaves is shot peened to reduce spring stress. This process can double the life of a spring.
Two-stage Leaf Pack: Featured on most rear springs for optimum comfort. When unladen the vehicle is largely riding on the primary stage, with the secondary stage providing additional support when a heavy load is added.

Pros Very high quality, excellent height and stability with easy installation.
Cons This is a newly installed mod so i cant find a con yet.
Recommended yes

Comments: After a month of having my jeep lifted i have been greatly impressed with the ride comfort and stability of my wheels. When i compared the new springs to the ones i took out it was a significant difference in strength and quality of steel. Off road obviously there is more clearance so you can do more with less worry and again the ride comfort is incredible. The installation only took me one day, but there are some other modifications that are required with this lift to eliminate rubbing. All in all, very happy so far.

Pros Excellent ride quality compared to stock.
Cons None!

Comments: I was almost about to settle for the Daystar leveling kit. After buying the daystar kit, i immediately returned it the same day i received the box from UPS. I have done a lot of research before deciding what kind of lift i wanted to go with. Too many guys that own KK liberty's have said to stay away from the Leveling kits by daystar(or any leveling kit sold). I am very happy with changing my decision by going with a suspension list instead. Save your money and get a full suspension lift. $682 Before shipping with Bilstein Shocks and OME Springs. 2927 front springs/2731 Rear springs. There are different options for shocks.

Pros ~2.5 inch lift closer to stock height, didn't require TC drop or SYE. Springs and shocks are designed and road tested to work with the Jeep Cherokee XJ. Provides a good ride on and off-road.
Cons None that I can think of.
Recommended yes

Comments: Several years, with significant number of miles has gone by since lift was first installed. Lift is still working well for my needs.

Rear Springs CS035RA/B (with overload spring), N series shocks.

This OME lift uses heavier duty spring set than stock to provide a good ride lifting to approx. ~2.5 inches higher than stock. Enough to save the exhaust while on less severe terrains off-road, e.g. Logging roads, lighter trails, forest service roads, etc.

Lift works with heavier payloads and towing. Doesn't change rear height by more than an ~inch when a payload is added. Lift and suspension worked well while towing a ~2500 lb. trailer. (note: not recommended for more extreme payloads, e.g. a trailer with a TW designed for a one plus ton truck, etc.)

e.g. CS033RA/B rear springs is a heavier duty version providing a higher lift and stiffer ride.

At the time of installation wasn't looking for a higher lift. If needing to go higher would be looking at a 3.5 - 4 inch minimum lift. Higher lifts often require other modifications to the steering, driveline and suspension, with a significant increase in cost using larger tires, re-gearing, lockers, SYE and other modifications to suspension, steering and possibly braking modifications.

Pros Excellent ride characteristics
Cons Almost wish it was 3.5", but LCG is a good thing

Comments: I love the OME HD kit. It provided a much needed improvement in body sway and overall ride quality.

Pros Great ride quality. Actually gained closer to 3 inches of lift. Very durable.
Cons HD rides a little too stiff for my liking.
Recommended yes

Comments: Old Man Emu offers two spring rates with their lift for the Wk's. The HD and MD. I got the HD springs. If i could go back, I would probably get the MD springs. I like the softer feel. However, if you plan on adding steel bumpers, winch, skids, etc...HD might be the better option as it will not sag as easily.

Pros quality product
Cons the HD kit is good, but for a smoother ride should have gone done to medium or softer kit
Recommended yes

Comments: great product. hardest about the install was removing the factory shocks.

Pros Nice Heavy Duty Springs
Cons Needed 1/4 Strut Spacer to level front to rear.
Recommended yes

Comments: The suspension is firm, but a sense of control after adding UCA's for lifts and a proper alignment. Looking back, I would've skipped the OME struts/shocks and went with the 5100/5125's.
