Pros this rides better then stock and it was simple to install. it took 7 hours but only because i ended up breaking a bolt then having to drill, then broke the tap, other then that it was simple.

Comments: just installed it a week ago and i love it. rides better then stock. handles better also. only needed 1/4" t-case drop also so your better off ordering it from northridge4x4 and not getting the t-case drop and use washers. i also didnt use the bump stop extensions. overall great kit id recommend to anyone looking for a superb ride on and off road.

Pros Mostly good ride, handles well.
Cons Big bumps can hit pretty hard.
Recommended yes

Comments: On my 84 CJ, I have the 2.5" OME suspension conversion Kit which uses the wider YJ spring packs. I opted for the heavier rear springs because my jeep has a hard top and a very heavy Warn rock bumper and tire rack. I also used stock YJ shackles, rubber bushings, and the recommended OME shocks.

The lift raised the Jeep more than advertised. In reality I'd say more like 3-4", which allowed for 33x10.50 BFG/AT Tires.

Road manners: The Jeep drives well, is stable, and has a firm ride, not harsh (more firm than stock). The suspension seems to have a progressive spring rate in which small bumps are easily absorbed but large bumps can hit pretty hard.

Off Road Capabilities: Unknown; I haven't tested them yet. I would anticipate good.

Pros great ride quality, so far everything about this lift has been impressive
Cons None so far

Comments: I bought this Jeep used about 3 months ago and was on the forums everyday trying to decide on which lift to buy. After much reading I decided on this lift and have been happy since I put it on. I work on computers and have never worked on cars in my life, but was able to install this, by myself, in about 5 hrs. The ride quality is amazing, feels like I am riding on air, flexes well, took it up into the mountains in North Georgia last weekend and was able to go through all the trails with no worry of bottoming out or getting stuck. I drive this vehicle to work daily, 35 miles each way and as a daily driver and a weekend offroader I dont think I could have been happier with the performance of this lift.

Pros Amazing ride & handling now. Better than stock.
Nitrocharger shocks do the trick and the springs evened things out for me. Can easily do 130KM per hr with no problems.
Cons My package did not come with any instruction at all. I do it by the instructions, thats my style. However you don't need instructions to do a lift.
More pricey than a rough country or other, but i'm sure will be well worth it in the long run.

Comments: I actually got the ZJ/LJ kit for my TJ. But essentially they are the same lift but mine has stiffer springs and Long travel shocks.

Pretty easy install, improved my handling and ride dramatically right away.
As things settle and I throw the hard top back on I think it will ride even better.

I got 3'' Front and 4'' in the rear, so more than a "2.5" lift. Which in any case you would get 2.0''-2.25'' after all is said and done.

Highly recommended!

Comments: I have been very happy with this set up for a year now. went with long travel shocks and the hd springs for lj in the rear. I sit on 35's and approached 90 on the turnpike coming home from jeeptoberfest. my friends that rode with me were impressed with the ride quality.

Pros tough, improve performance on and off road.
Cons "rugged" on road ride.
Recommended yes

Comments: I had the 2" OME kit on my last wrangler, and this one is much more heavy duty. Makes for a rougher ride on road, feels as though you're driving a mini dumptruck, where as the 2" gave a sportier on road ride, but was often too soft for off road use, especially when loaded. Having had both, I would choose the HD every-time, simply for it's burliness.

Pros Great Lift.
Cons None.

Comments: Lift was purchased and installed by previous owner. I love it. Good enough ride, stays flat when towing, amazingly good flex with zero supporting mods.
