I just rebuilt my 231 the chain was worn so a good time to freshen up the rest of it.
So now this is the problem.
With the planetary gear out turns smooth as butter.
Once the planetary gear housing, all by itself and with no other parts involved, will not turn when inserted more than 1/4 of the way into the ring gear in the case.
I cannot find any bad teeth on it at all. About ready to buy a new planetary gear.
