Hey guys, still alive and kickin' here in Bismarck. I should be able to make that aug 2 event if it's still going, so count me in.

Aside from the middle of june, my summer calendar is currently open so post any other runs / events for the handful of us north dakota guys (and the manitoba jeeper).

:cheers2:

Hey, me too. :rofl::rofl:

I wish we had some place decent to wheel around here. This fall I found out about a place south of Fergus a couple of hours. I'm hoping to check it out this spring some time.

If anyone is headed over to Mandan for Buggies and Blues on June 6th stop by and say Hi! I'll be bringing my Jeep up from Denver to put in the show and to spend some time with friends and relatives.

I would love to try and make the Peace Gardens trip. Every time we make it up there my wife would love to go but time flies when your on vacation.

Cool! Here is a little ND joke I made up today!

Beulah, ND made the National news today as they were hauling the worlds largest chunk of coal from the strip mine up there on two large Semi's and had to close down I-94 West of Bismarck. Rumor is that they are headed to Mount Rushmore to add the first Black President to the monument! Ha! Ha!

We have had a busy winter and have been kinda collecting Jeeps, we really want to get them out there and see some action this summer so be sure and let us know if anything is going on. We are up to seven pretty good rigs, two Cherokees and five Wranglers. One Wrangler is needing to be fixed and the others are mostly ready to go climbing.

If you get bored and just want to climb something for something to do we have been climbing out in our pasture SW of Jamestown.

Does anyone know the dates for Watford City or Williston?
If so, can you drop us an e-mail at : Gunsmokeoz @ gmail.com (ignore spaces)

Thanks
Matt

If any of you guys who have been talking with me for awhile interested in coming to southwestern Manitoba for a spring run - contact me via PM.

It will be about the 5th of April, or maybe the 12th, depending on conditions.

This is a Jeeps only by invitation only event and MUST have front and rear recovery points, full size spare tire, and minimum AT tires with 1/4" tread depth.

When do you guys typically take off the tops...50 degrees, 60 degrees? I can't wait!! Just when the flood starts looking better, we get more cold and snow :(
Depends on the year and how anxious I am. The first year I had the Jeep I had it off pretty early. Last year it barely ever came off. But that was due to me having a 1 year old in the back seat.

Usually by mid april for me. But not sure this year with all the continued snow and cold. Just when things seem like they are going to settle in, we get hit with more winter.

Speaking of which... I have to postpone the spring opener run we were going to have -- due to nothing less than "conditions"!!!! What else? Might be closer to the end of the month now instead.

Just came across this thread. I grew up in Williston and belonged to a club called Cliffhangers. There are alot of members and not only Jeeps. There are alot of great places to wheel in that area and the club is still active.
