Comments: Would not swap this into a vehicle, but would not intentionally swap it out until it's Viscous coupler goes. Need to find a spare but that will be hard because it must have the same diameter tire & tread ware. Can't just use the stock spare

also no 2wd option for mpg but its a jeep right?

Comments: I've just recently been introduced to the 4 lo in this transfer case. I had a WJ with a np242 before this and 4 part time is what I used offroad so I thought that 4 hi would be the same way, not at all. 4 hi is horrible offroad. 4 low locks the front and rear driveshafts together like a np231 or 242.

Comments: i like it just because it has good traction all the time but the low MPG does get old after a while. when it does finally go out i will be converting to a 231 transfer case
