Comments: Great case to replace the locked NP249 that was in my ZJ. I'm glad I skipped the 242 - the 231 is direct shift and won't get stuck in 4wd. Strong case.

Comments: Still using factory NP231 after about 220,000km and plenty of beatings. After having the 4" lift on Jeep for a few years play in the output shaft began to cause minor driveline shutter when accelerating from a stop. Replaced worn parts a SYE kit and good as new.
