Are you getting noise out of it at all? I have a 06 Liberty and the volume knob is sketchy as all get-out. I have to wiggle it back and forth and experiment with gripping pressure (the volume will increase even when turning it counterclockwise!). The volume control and fiddly seatbelt locks are a couple of things I thought might be design faults.
