Ive read trough the thread, but could not find any information about it.


I know that the mygig lockpick from coastal tech is not intended for export vehicles.

BUT are there anyone here from around europe that have tested it? i dont know why it should not work, proberly the ntsc/pal video format? or are there any other ways of getting it?

iam mostly interested in the 4 camera options with the automatic reverse camera when the reverse gear is activated.

2017 Update for 2009 Wrangler RER (with Navigation) NOT 2017 Data

I'm guessing you already know how the updates are not totally what they say they are but I just updated my navigation database to what was advertised as a "2017" update. After loading, I noticed some information that I had expected to be there was not so I checked into the disk I was sent.

On the install disk I found notation that this database is not 2017 but "2Q 2016". I had several back/forths with the HERE, INC. folks and finally they admitted that this was indeed the case. Gave me a song & dance about it taking 12-18 months to test before release. Not buying that but, since my old database was from 2012, it was still an update for me so kept it. FYI, the 2017 update CD installed version: N 1645 3.0.0 of the navigation database.

However, those of you who have later versions, be aware that this is the age of the information on the update.

Can anyone give me a fix for the following issues.

After disconnecting the battery in my chrysler 300 the following on my gig does & doesent work
WORKS: sat nav, voice activation,radio, DISC DRIVE, HDD & STORAGE

DOESENT WORK: the on off button, yet is does work with the volume, the open close button for the disc entry, yet if i manually move the screen out of the way the disk can be ejected & does play & record onto the HDD if required. The USB, & the blue tooth. Could this be an internal fuse or a corrupted software issue. I have reset to default settings but all is the same. the uconnect site says I dont need any updates. Any ideas folks?????????

My 2009 NAV is no longer working. GPS location and direction is way off; when driving the map-car stays stationary. I replaced GPS antenna, but no help. Is there a way to fix this?

My 430 RBZ does not have Sirius station logos with the update.

I have a Grand Cherokee Overland 2011 with RHR (730n) and need to replace US/CA maps with Middle East maps

I am facing a ping pong problem with US and Middle East dealers, they keep throwing me to each other and no one is helping.

I did my homework of upgrading from 1.908 to 2.700 successfully.

Still need to understand how maps replacement/upgrade works, I am ready to pay for a maps CD but it seems dealers have the habit of throwing you around, kicking you and ignoring.

Anyone tried to replace US with Europe or Asia maps, if yes tell me how you did (just the method) it and I will find my way from there.

Looking for Mygig RER firmware update CD closest to 2009 release, Application 1.220.

I recently replaced hard drive with lastest 2.404 CD update and mygig keep losing U-connect (says not equipped) and NAV database. I need to fall back to older firmware.

Just thought I'd share this one into the thread. I have a 2016 JK with a MyGIG 430N. When the combo GPS/Sirius antenna wire got severed, it was a real pain to get replaced because all the part numbers on this thread were for 2010 and below. Anyway, I only found one place selling the GPS/Sirius replacement components and it was Infotainment.com if you're looking. I've put a short picture guide on replacing it here (Fixing MyGIG 430N SiriusXM/GPS Antenna Cable in a JKU) if it helps anyone. It's much easier to just leave the antenna under the dash ... it's only an additional 2mm of plastic.

The RHR (730N) only made wit US & Canada Maps, the last update added Mexico.
Installing International maps is almost impossible !!!

I didnt notice anything the last few pages, so does anyone else have issues getting their contacts to DL to the unconnect from their Samsung S10? Mine says not supported? I am current on all updates.
