Ok since I plan on doing tons over the summer I decided I would start up a YJ build thread too.

When I bought it

1994 YJ
2.5L 4cyl
2 inch suspension Lift
Cragar D windows
31" bridgestone A/t's

Work done so far

In the process of taking off trac bars (man they don't come off easy)

2 toolboxes mounted on the rear wheel wells

Mounted a CB

Hi-Lift mounted on hood

Just throwin it out there, with 2" of suspension, you probably won't need your sway bar. I do still have my track bar up front (too lazy to take it off and see how it rides) but the sway bar might not be neccesary..

Not necessary for any driving? I wasn't really planning on putting on sway bar discos, but I figured i'd add it to the list. Herculiner would be good, I dont have any carpeting now. I'm also planning on putting in 2 pioneer 4x6 speakers in the front and maby a sound bar. I also forgot to put up some other work i've done

Installed a VDP center console

Ok well I went down and bought a 48" all cast hi-lift from 4wheel parts, mounted it on the hood

Bought a shovel today, 10$ at sears, 2$ for hardware (sorry for the crappy pics, dad went out of town for wrok and has been for a while, he left the camera in his car on accident, only phone pics.

alright well seeing as how im on a tight budget for now, you have to get a warn winch plate for the grille guard to work, so im scratching the grille guard idea until I get the m8000 I want, and then i'll complete the front bumper set up, as for now, bumper only, i'll update in a few weeks when I get it. Should be doing some wheelin on saturday the 31st, ill grab some pics

did some light wheelin today, not really wheelin, but it was fun. Also bought the q-industries mf-150 tsunami (aka mv-50)

^^ the skyjacker hydros? Im grabbing the warn front bumper and grille guard first, I keep changing my mind lol. I kept the top up but zipped everything out because it looked like a storm was rolling in

Took off the sway bar today, trac bars come off wednesday

Decided against the shackles for now. My first summer paycheck is going to be huge and I will hopefully be able to get the shocks and shackles at the same time. I got 2 kc slimlites and some windshield mounts from quadratec. Since im going wheelin this weekend it was the only thing I could afford because of gas and such, I just gotta feed my wrenchin inch and those were in the back of my mind.

*edit- oh and I got a hi-lift handle keeper too. I guess I just missed out on the free shipping was 200$ or so total

Went wheelin with a few people, didn't get the pics I wanted, but I did get my rear driver wheel 4' off the ground

got my first body damage too on a big boulder. Went up to get a flex shot, when I let off the brake it rolled forward and crunch, about a 1' section of my driver rocker was pushed up and bent out a bit, i'll be picking up some warn rocker guards soon.

I canceled the kc lights and windshield mounts, just to much, but now im kinda regretting it, I got 2 hella 500's and put them on the front bumper, and as of now they aren't working. I'm pretty sure its my grounds

Barrio grounds should be good, I just haven't hooked up the switch to the fuse box (forgot about that part)

Well the wiring diagram says if you want them on with the high beams wire the green wire from the switch to the beams. I didn't want to do that so I left it alone. Well I figured out that was the power for the switch, so I had to run the green wire from the switch, to the battery, and that gave it power to turn them on. I flipped them on and the driver one turned on and the passenger one didn't. Luckily it was just a bad ground on that light, tightened it up and they work great. I want some of the rock guards like the kc's, where its still a rock guard but you can shine the light through it.

They have them for the rallye but not the 500's. Next week im getting the warn rock sliders

tjtank99 Thanks me too. I got some warn rock sliders on hold down at predator 4wd, picking them up on saturday, going wheeling too, i'll be sure to get tons of pics of the trip and the install

save your money, don't by the quick disconnects

oh im not, I took of my sway bar a while ago, and I just cut off my trac bars, didn't notice any difference in on road driving, but gained TONS of flex.
