What makes it so different other than the obvious length?
Did u every question that the rear frame brace u cut out to fit the larger tank might come back to haunt u? Ie car crash or insurance b.s. Ive wanted to do it to my LJ , but that worries me. Cutting the frame out seems drastic!LJDesertRat said:The gas tank may be the same but if you want to drop the scratch, Genright makes a 31.5 gallon safari tank with skid plate. It's worth every penny to me. I do long distance expeditions and 400 plus miles without refueling is AWESOME!! SAVE THE GERRY CANS!! That and keep your weight and center of gravity low. Plus you actually gain clearance! No I do not work for Genright.
Thanks. Sucks being in Alaska due to shipping cost. When I ordered my front and rear bumpers I had to go through a offroad shop. But I'll look into it!LJDesertRat said:Well if you decide to pull the trigger and do it ask for Keith Lyon at GENRIGHT. Tell him Ryan from Yuma sent you and he should cut you a good deal.
