Had it for a little over a year now. Loving it more than the other wranglers I've had.

What makes it so different other than the obvious length?
They ride slightly better than a regular TJ. A noticeable difference in cargo room, I think the towing capacity is more. They come with a D44.

Sent from a smart *** phone.
Very little difference. It even has same gas tank as a tj. But it's a nice wheel base for off road. I built a custom drawer in the back cargo area and love the look lifted. It tows better

Wayyy more towing capability with the Dana 44. Not to mention rear cargo area room. With the rear seat removed you can actually sleep in the back if you fold the rear seats forward. Or you can go one step further and install a fold down tailgate from swagoffroad.com and use an inflatable mattress for the ultimate sleeping accommodations. I'm 6'3" and it works like a champ. Oh yeah and better on and off road handling and clearance.
The gas tank may be the same but if you want to drop the scratch, Genright makes a 31.5 gallon safari tank with skid plate. It's worth every penny to me. I do long distance expeditions and 400 plus miles without refueling is AWESOME!! SAVE THE GERRY CANS!! That and keep your weight and center of gravity low. Plus you actually gain clearance! No I do not work for Genright.

Did u every question that the rear frame brace u cut out to fit the larger tank might come back to haunt u? Ie car crash or insurance b.s. Ive wanted to do it to my LJ , but that worries me. Cutting the frame out seems drastic!
Nope. It's pretty much there to support the gas tank. I'm sure that its just as crash worthy. With the body armor and rear bumper I pity the fool that hits me. Unless its a semi or something!! Lol.
If anything, insurance companies should love it!! The gas tank goes from plastic to uberthick aluminum with a bulletproof skid that encompasses the entire tank. You should go for it!
It would be good to move the Jerry cans from the tire carrier to a lower spot! I just might. Fun project!
Well if you decide to pull the trigger and do it ask for Keith Lyon at GENRIGHT. Tell him Ryan from Yuma sent you and he should cut you a good deal.

Thanks. Sucks being in Alaska due to shipping cost. When I ordered my front and rear bumpers I had to go through a offroad shop. But I'll look into it!
On the bright side you have endless pristine Jeep country to explore. Give them a call and talk to my guy and see what kind of deal he can make you.
