I just bought a 2003 Jeep TJ Sport and I am finding small issues here and there nothing major.

One issue is that as I am driving and let off of the accelerator there is a whistling noise coming from the engine compartment. If I give it gas again, it goes away.

Do I have a vacuum leak or something?

I find sometimes I hear whistling when I pass women in my Jeep😁

My 2006 LJ has the same whistle... I think it comes from the IAC valve @ the throttle body but not sure.

Listen closer. Are you sure it doesn't come from the center of the dash. mine did after listening to people say its under the hood. It ended up being the vacuum selector switch. The one on the right with like 10 hoses going to it.

or maybe you got an oversized throttle body and it whistles? i think that used to be a complaint on those types of mods?

probably not your issue though
