Few local guys getting cabin fever. Looking for local play place. Anyone know of anywhere besides parks? Those are fun and all, but were looking for somewhere we can go and not worry if they're open, paying $25 to wheel for 2-3 hours etc.

Welcome to Michigan. Parks or private property. All else isn't much "fun".

There's a local guy in Ionia, his name is Doug. He has some private property he wheels. Maybe you could find him...

Yeah, I've got that bookmarked on my computer. But all that is located 75+ miles away. Plus, being ORV Routes, they're pretty tame. I'd bet a Subaru could get down most of those. I'm calling out to any local guys who know of local spots inside the Lowell, to Lakeview, and Cedar Springs to Ionia area. Seeing if there is any unknown spots out there. Something that locals may know about, but those outside that immediate area don't. Stuff like that. Something we can go wheel and be back from within an hour or two.

in jenison there is a spot people call it the pits isnt a huge spot but its real swampy due to being next to the Gran River

In Montague east of 31 I've tooled around some seasonal roads that had some major hills and difficulty I wasn't comfortable even trying w/o someone to pull me out....all around the White River. I don't have exacts...but google Skeels road in Montague and the roads and trails jotted off from there......I wish I had more info but when I was there I was more in search of fishing than wheeling so I paid little mind

lots of state land areas with decent wheeling in montcalm. lakeview has a nice trail system
