I own an 86 MJ XLS 4x4 w the pos Chevy motor. Since I bought it I've been trying to fix the damn fuel gauge, I've already replaced the sending unit and didn't fix anything. I may be wrong but I suspect the instrument cluster may be faulty. I noticed the circuit runs thru the coolant temp switch light and that light has been red the whole time.
Ideas?
