Where can one obtain a service manual, stating what needs to be done at every service, as well as what quantity of spares (filters, oil, etc.) are needed for a WKII Overland with the 3.0 CRD VM Motori engine?

I replaced that battery in my flashlight and it still doesn't work. :frown2:
Not sure what the problem is, 3V at the battery. Ug.
Anyway, another one for you people who want to change the FP relay (external one after recall)
Mine is working great! I put electrical tape around the base to keep moisture out.

I have a couple questions about maintenance, not mechanical but I don't see a more relevant thread:
I have two choices for parking - my driveway, in full sun. I've ordered window shades all round. Or, under a tree that is a favorite spot for birds completing their digestion. So which is less worse for the paint, sunshine or bird poop?
Also, the interior is black and my dog is cream colored. Can anyone recommend seat covers, along with any other hair-avoidance methods? The back seat cover in particular needs to hold up under a large enthusiastic dog.

Is there a procedure for compression testing on the 3.6L?
I'd like to check the easy side cylinders tomorrow.
I'd suspect warming it up and then removing the fuel pump relay until it stalls. Remove a spark plug and then screw the compression tester in.. Then turning it over may work?
What is the psi specifications for the 3.6L?
Found that it should be at a minimum 100 psi and no more than 25% difference between all the cylinders.
Test results: Had build up on #1 plug. Removed ASD relay for testing and held throttle to floor.
105 psi on front left cylinder. OOf. That's not very good. Got 145 psi on #3 cyllinder. Got 150 psi on #5 cylinder.
Did a leak down test on #1 cylinder. Leaking from the exhaust pipe mostly. Tried turning the motor over a bit with a wrench.
