Lost Coast run, Sept 13,14

A small group of us are running the Lost Coast Saturday and camping overnight in the Shelter Cove area. Anyone who would like to check out the Lost Coast area is welcome to join us. This is our 3rd annual run here, but due to scheduling conflicts only a few of us can attend, so I wanted to extend to invite to JF and the NorCal group. We'll be meeting up in Willits at Safeway, 9AM, heading to Fort Bragg, break for lunch at one of the last few beaches you can drive out on, then to a second beach on Usal Rd. From there, on to Shelter Cove via Usal Rd. Sunday, we will take King Peak trail into Honeydew, then over the mountain and into Humboldt State Redwood forest, then on to the Avenue of Giants road back home.

Here's the link to last year's run. It's long and full of banter, so if you can weed thru it, there are some good pics. We had to cut the second day short due to bad weather, so I'm running this year's a bit earlier in the month to try for good weather. Never know what'll you'll get at the Loast Coast!

It's been a yearly run for us, so I'm sure we'll do it again next year. Stay tuned!
