I had my duramax stolen last year and it sucked ***, insurance company wanted to give me 16k for it when it blue booked at 18k private party good condition, it also had 14k worth of extras (lift, 20's programmers ect) insurance company's suck thank god we found it with just missing the subs and stereo.this is it, master lock has a system. from my understanding, a relay that replaces the one for starter circuit or fuel pump.

I can't see why that kit wouldn't work in a TJ. All one does is insert a receiver/relay shaped like the relay it replaces. yes i can see these being an issue. however key fob or not if they take your keys you are screwed anyway. and ill ask MASTER lock when they get back to me what the range on the key fob is. i have seen key forbs with an adjustment inside. one of those little things on the circuit board that you need a tiny screw driver for.JC Whitney sells them. Last time I looked they had one for my 1999 TJ. Only problem I see is if someone steals your keys, with fob attached, they can steal your Jeep as well if someone is trying to steal your Jeep and you're close enough for the fob to enable the fuel relay. I went with something else, because of those two issues.

If you want that type of security system, then it's worth the shot. It's a clever design and approach but I just think it is too easy to defeat with the swap of a simple relay. You could contact the company and ask them the pin configuration. The Jeep uses a standard ISO mini relay (30, 87, 87A, 86, 85 configuration).
