I've got a 2012 Grand Cherokee. Key Fob has stopped working. Last couple of times before it stopped working I received a low battery warning for the Key Fob in the dashboard message ctr. Vehicle Battery might be getting low and could be an issue. I'm able to unlock the door with the standard key which comes with the fob but the dash shows the alarm is still on. Easiest way to turn off alarm so I can see if it's a vehicle battery issue. Any common issues or quirky things about the Key Fob? Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

Did you change the battery in the FOB?

Changed the battery with one that was definitely working, went into the fob and cleaned all the contacts, didn't see and damage or broken contacts.

My fobs have been flaking out on me lately. I replaced the batteries, cleaned the contacts too.
