Comments: So all I can say is wow, these subs are amazing. Now I don't wanna sound like I'm just saying this cause everyone else has, and that Im saying this just cause its Kenwood. But WOW.. WOW. First off, I got these subs cause they were real cheap and had a decent power rating, 400 RMS watts was what crutchfield had as the rated power. And for the price, that was insane! Cheaper than a red 12" sony explode and twice the power handling!? Can I say a deal? And its made by Kenwood so you know its gonna be made with quality and its gonna be reliable. I got a Kenwood KAC-X1R amp for 300 and put it in a dual vented box. I have an Excelon KDC-X491 head unit with a SW so I took the bass out of the speakers and looking at the trunk these things look bigger than 12s. My friend has some 12s in his cadi but they don't look nearly as big as these. More bumpin!. They Hit pretty hard and the cones make them look real classy. I noticed when I got the boxes it had the rated power at 400 max at 800 (if you want to ignore SQ for SPL) and 1200 peak each. These are really loud and are very accurate. You cant get much of a better deal than these, whether you want accurate moderately loud bass or straight up loud spl to compete with your friends. You cant much beat the quality/response/acurracy/power rating/looks/ vs. the price on 2 12s. The trim is nice for if you wanna reverse the subs and maintain looks. and it looks insane reversed as well as regular. Beware, if you are quite fond of using your rear view mirror you might wanna learn to use your side mirrors. Great buy.

Comments: $200 for two of them with a custom box. Bought these subs from a friend working at an audio store. Never have any issues with over heating, but they do draw enough power that they can make the head lights dim.

Comments: The Kenwood Amp and 12' Sub combo package is a very nice deal.
Its $250 and you get some pretty good instructions. The only down side its the Sub itself,for me to instal this i had to remove my back seat which was very easy. It kinda sucks not having rear seatting but on the up side your have a sub that really bumps and more storage. I would recommend this if you dont care about not having a back seat
