Just ordered my '07 Unlimited Rubicon

I just got back from the dealer and they ordered me one of their 5 allotted '07 Unlimited's. I got it loaded with the exception of Navigation, which they say that they will switch one out from a new one when it becomes available. They had a grand Cherokee in stock with the Light Greystone color and I have to say that it is a pretty nice color. It is a light stone color, darker than a white pearl, but much more tan than silver. I ended up going with Rescue Green just because it is different and lively. They also had a car in the steel blue and that was really dark. No pricing, however. I had to order it "blind". I'm not too worried..... just pretty excited

Wow.

That's the first confirmed order that I've heard of. If they are only allowed to order five per dealership, that may explain why my dealer's computer showed it available for order, but locked up once he got to the tranny choice screen. Kinda surprised that they didn't have pricing available yet, though.

I was going to see if wanted to set up a wheeling trip with it, but your about 2 days drive from me.

soooo turtle................ I see your only about 50 miles south of me.....are you getting one????

Well, sorta. I'm keeping my TJ, but my girlfriend is getting the JKU. She's got it all figured out; she knows that I can't stand to leave any of my vehicles stock for very long, especially Jeeps. She knows that I won't last very long, looking at the stock JK, and before long her JK will be my project. She's a smart cookie!

So, yes, I'm getting one.
