I picked up a used soft top that I received from a friend at no cost. The soft top is an original from the factory, but the only thing that he gave me was the top with the frame. No mounting hardware, door surrounds, etc.... When I called my local Jeep dealer, they told me that it would probably just be cheaper to buy a brand new top. Not sure if this is true, but just looking for a little bit of help as I have never had a soft top on my Wrangler.

Bestop makes a bow kit for the factory tops (which they make). I'm sure they can set you up with any other hardware you need as well, just contact their customer service. Very helpful folks based right here in Denver.
Not a cheap kit, but less than a complete quality top.

If you need a frame, look to Craigslist. The frame itself, from anyone, is expensive. Find a takeoff cheap. I found a 2 dr takeoff for $80 when I needed frame parts. Yeah, I had to drive 2 hours but even with a 4 hr drive and a tank of gas, it was cheaper than buying a replacement frame.
