Well keep in mind you're buying into the JEEP culture, not some cookie cutter car. You're about to embark on your journey into the ultimate in customization. No pavement pounder can come close to what can be done to a Jeep.

I suggest you look for a first generation Wrangler, 1987-1995 YJ models. They're easy to find, inexpensive, and they're the easiest to work on. They have a HUGE following too, a lot of guys around here know them inside and out. Going to be expensive to insure for a youngin, I know i'm somewhere in the $200 range each month.
