Well folks, I said I was going back to an XJ so that's what I did. Just a recap on my previous Jeeps...

My first XJ the day I sold it. 95' Sport 5 speed...

My second.... 87' Waggy XJ w/ factory 44 and HP non disco 30. Wish I kept this one...

And of course, my TJ I just recently sold....

Well after my TJ, I started looking for my next XJ. I knew I wanted a 97'+, so that's what I went after. While searching craigslist, I came across a 99' with 130k miles. Girl that owned it said it needed a radiator. All it really needed was a cap. Talked her down to $1600 and brought it home. Had some awesome seat covers and looked and smelled like an ash tray inside...

Did some work today. Trimmed the back of the front fenders since I have had some rubbing issues. Also added some MORE washers to the stops. No more CA rubbing. I have come to the conclusion that my exhaust STILL LEAKS! Gay. .I absolutely hate welding exhaust. And it's leaking coolant somewhere. Dumb. Anyway, I gotz some pics....

Thanks man! Only vibes I'm getting are from what I think is the tires. They are unbalanced.

Ever try beads? Thats how we were balancing 35's or are they 36's? Whatever the humvee tires are..35x13.5 or 36x13x.5. And they rode great!
I haven't tried beads but it's not too bad that I can't deal with it. If I ever do balance them, I will go with beads.

Did some wheeling at Crozet yesterday. Rained all day and was pretty slick. Only got one vid and a pic of a buddy who flopped his in the same section as my vid....

Your setup is so sick. What leafs did you end up with again? Stock & a AAL correct? And just a 3" Rustys coil?
Thanks man! Yup, just a 3 inch AAL with a stock pack and a 3 inch coil. Suspension is still far from done. I still need longer rear shocks, trim the shock mounts on the Dana 30, think I'm staying short arm and going with either Clayton or Rokmen. Also needs a shackle relocation in the rear. Bumpstops and skids are your friends being this low.
Seems like it, I think 33's will be big enough for me though. 35's seem like alot of extra weight.

They aren't as bad as everyone thinks they are...
I just put clayton shorts on my sh*t with te same lift as you, un-fing-believeable dude. Soo nice, i can droop crazy now. I still have two adj short lowers sitting in my garage not being used.... ;)
If you are interested, I'll sell you my Rokman arms for a good deal. It will motivate me to stretch.

ur info is garbage.......a few more beads wont change anything. do it right now that you know theyve bent. Buy the stiffeners then get some box tube and be done..
The hell they wont. A full weld is absolutely stronger than stitch welds. I don't know why someone would stitch weld sliders in the first place, you stitch weld thin sheet metal so that you don't burn through or warp it.
Yo what kinda skids you running? Im thinking about doing a full belly
