I finally had time to get under the dashboard and take a look at the wires. The two wires go to the yellow plug in the first picture, which goes to the passenger airbag. Now to connect them without blowing the air bag...hahaha.

I also found the dark green and black/tan wires.

I am curious is the AIRBAG light on?

Update

I disconnected the battery for over and hour and then spliced the wires together. Plugged the connector, connected the battery and started the jeep. I drove the car around and so far, so good, and the Airbag light is off now.
