help! clutch won't bleed

Vehicle: 99 TJ.
Symptom: my clutch pedal is weightless, so there's air in the line. I replaced the slave cylinder (which was bad, but not the problem) and haven't had success bleeding it.
I've followed what i THINK is the right method: pump the slave piston by hand, slowly. That hasn't worked, because my pedal still doesn't feel right.


What do i do?

new wrinkle: i need a master cylinder rod

hey.
my pedal wore out the master cylinder arm. anyone have a spare i can buy? i don't want to buy a whole master cylinder, so i don't know what to do here

i'm in 92120
just bought the whole kit. clutch working. no , jeep911's never even tried to make me a fair deal. i'd rather buy parts from you forum jeepers, all day long
