cadeucsb that is the exact hoist I got. A family member owed me for some work I did for them and that is what I got from them.
Lizardking31 The cost of mine will be almost nil the material is left over from another Job I think the only thing I will have to buy is some cable.
I believe I will get started in the AM I have about caught up on the other projects for the moment.

cool, definitely do the power drill trick if you have one...it winds up so sloooooowwww. When loading the cable for the first it takes forever since you have to load the whole 25ft cable...the drill makes it do-able and still not too fast.

I think I like Zens idea, sounds so simple its brilliant ,I don't have a hoist but I have a come along .Go to a snatch block above -across the ceiling to the come along. Thanks Zen for the info
