The only difference between the MB and GPW is that the GPW's have Ford stamped parts right?

That is an excellent GPW! Keep it all original like that. I love it. It's my dream to own a WWII Jeep some day.

Willys jeeps have a round cross member at the front, Ford jeep have a square cross member.

After WW2, jeeps were made in France and India.
French jeeps had a tube cross member.
I think the Indian jeep did not have a round cross member.
