That is a YJ hard top. It fits a CJ but the liftgate doesn't work right.

Yes it is but it fit CJ perfectly.

Buzz about a 1/2" off the inside of the lift gate where the CJ tailgate hits, and that's that. That's what I'm doing with mine. The YJ tops are better, because they have bigger windows for better outward visibility. My top is white (for now), but if I didn't have it and was closer, I'd snap it up in a heartbeat (this one also doesn't have the rear wiper, which I wish mine didn't have).
