I also had this occur to me a few weeks ago, same code, cause unknown. I had checked everything out, wheel speed sensors, wiring etc to no avail. In my case I could reset the code/erase and it would come back after moving a short distance. It eventually cleared itself after so many successful run cycles or miles. don't know which, but it has stayed off for at least 2 weeks since clearing itself. Would recommend you live with it for a while before sinking a lot of $ into it. The ABS control module is in the $600-900 range new.

Update: I had this happen again, but have seemed to narrow it down to a speed differential between the rear wheels on aggressive acceleration around a corner. When I accelerate really hard, enough to activate the ESP when turning a corner I can hear the inside tire screech (like a 1 wheel peal) more than the outer tire before the traction control kicks in. In my opinion this is probably caused by the wheel speed sensors reading a significant differential between the two, throwing the lights. After about 5 short normal trips, the dash lights reset themselves. Same error code as what you mentioned.

Maybe someone can confirm this observation, I would expect that it can come up when offroading if you keep the traction control activated, a slightly prolonged one wheel traction loss, might cause the same. Thoughts?
