Pros will apparently last forever
Recommended yes

Comments: when mated with the fipk and cat back (i did them all at once) i really did get the throttle response. any HP gains were so minimal as that i didn't notice. 4cyl might feel it a little more. it's a peace of mind thing, knowing that i won't have to worry about the exhaust (minus cat) for as long as i or my kids live.

Pros Warranty
Cons Cracked after short period, poor fitment in one case
Recommended no

Comments: I ran 3 different Borla headers on my TJ.

The first cracked after approximately 10 months.

The second cracked after 8 months.

The third did not fit correctly. Once it was all bolted up, the bottom collector was pointing straight at the block making it impossible to bolt up the down pipe.

The only positive thing I can say about this product is that the warranty was honered in all 3 situations.

Pros Sound, million mile warranty
Cons Fitment
Recommended yes

Comments: Header fit nicely to head, but collector did not line up to parallel the bottom of my Jeep. I was able to compensate for this angle with the downpipe to cat, but I might have a small leak, don't know.

If I fail emissions for a leak there, the warranty will cover it.

Pros Warranty
Cons none so far
Recommended yes

Comments: I have put appr. 3k miles on my borla headers and have not had any problems. I put the headers on at the same time as my bored throttle body, exhaust, and intake kit on so not sure of any power gains. Doubt if it did any HP gains but get a much better throttle response out of the package. I did not have any fit problems.

Pros Performance increase when complete system is replaced
Cons none
Recommended yes

Comments: I had a Borla header + Borla cat back and a Random catalytic converter all with over 30k miles on a 94 YJ and never had any problems. The performance was more noticeable once I added the catalytic converter and took out the bottleneck. Was not as loud as I would have preferred

Comments: Wonderful looking part, sounded great, cracked at the welds like it was going out of style. It was on the jeep when i bought it, when i removed it i did notice a little loss of power in midrange, but the exhaust leaks were driving me nuts, so its worth the loss.

Pros Good quality
Cons Not as loud as expected. Gasket shipped with product leaks.
Recommended yes

Comments: I bought the headers a month after having the cat-back installed. Surprisingly, the original manifold with the Borla cat-back was louder. However, the Borla headers combined with the Borla cat-back did increase performance and air-flow through the engine. I am also using these products with a Banks Ram cold-air intake. One more note, the combo will put my girlfriend back in her seat and give her a little scare. :)

Edit 6/3/2021 - So, I have had an air leak in the Borla headers for years. Serviced it myself and installed a new gasket thinking it would solve the issue. No, luck. Perhaps they are warped near the cats. Lame.

Pros Free.
Cons Cracked in 3 different places
Recommended no

I dont know how to rate this because it was on and broken when I bought my jeep. He mentioned it had a "little exhaust flutter" ...sounds like a monkey banging on my hood when accelerating.
From what I can see this header looks like crap..(again I didnt break it so I dont know what was involved in doing so)
There is a pinhole in the Y area that looks like a manufacturing defect and the headers warped so bad on the head that it cracked the mounting areas. Could be Jeep abuse or a crappy product.
Im just saying if you dont like replacing the header...(because it is warranteed) I would look elsewhere
