Hello, my name is James Blue bought my JK back in February of 2012, my only demand to the dealer is that it had to have factory half doors and be a 4 dr. And they had one on the lot 2012 JKU Sport Deep Cheery Red, 4dr,3.73,LSD,Max Tow, rolling on 255/70/18(free upgrade from the 16"). Just what I wanted

New as new can be.

First thing I got started on was building an overhead consul.

The bracket shown above is the bracket attached to windshield frame there the factory strap hoof was.

Finished product.

Next came some side armor to help prevent Door dings. I can handle some trail damage but some idiot swinging the door into me will tick me off to no end.

New bumper

Got bored and cut my fenders

tossed on my Rugged Ridge 8500lb winch

Put together a winch bag.

Plasti dipped doors then put bed liner on top of that to add strength. Came out great has held up great. I like the look of black doors.

Sanded and preped the tub for Herculiner.

Lifted my Jeep then put it back down.. *L* This was a shop I had free access to anytime until I got transfered.

Speaker box in the works.

Amp mounted.

Thanks to a hit and run got a new bumper for FREE

Tire carrier mounted.

Birthday gift fromt the wife.

I almost forgot about this. Have not really done much more to it am pretty happy with the lockers and gears. Tossed on a set of front upper and lower adjustable control arms and a Track bar.

Replaced the stock fog lights.

Started building another gauge pod got it almost finished but starting to not like it so much might just order and S-Pod.

Outside of that Just been wheeling it and loving it.

Well I got my OBA manifold rebuilt and re-installed I will be running a GowShift PSI gauge with dual sensors so I can read PSI at the tanks and the manifold since they are split systems.

Had to notch the OEM bracket so the regulator would sit right. Have to say I was not a fan of all the plastic on the JKs but it is actually really strong and much easier to work with.

I could not get the angle I wanted due to the angle of the plastic for mounting surface, I was going to wait and put a plate in and place it strighter but with all the snow and everythign shutting down I just want to get my lockers back online.

The line leaving to feed my tanks. Travels through the fender well then into the cab back to the tanks.

So I been working on a overhead console and this is the final drawing that is going to the shop, The gauge and switch portion is meant to favor the look of the SPOD, it will hug the natural shape of the inter molding while still clearing the rear view mirror. The location and angle of the CB mount changed as well I have built this section and have test fit it in the Jeep and the CB is visible while allowing a clear line of sight to all switches and gauge. I also reformed the rear mount so detentions in the drawing are exact to the roll bar that it will attach to. I should in theory be able to email the files to the shop go pick it up and bolt it in. For caution and margin for error we are going to wait till we have the Jeep in the shop and built/test fit as we go. Either way I am pretty excited about it cant wait to have it built.

Front mount will be simply two screw holes as a custom mount is already in place on the windshield frame.

This would be the drivers point of view if looking up at the console from the drive seat.

Looks like a good plan!

Have any shots of the body lift points? An extra inch would be sweet but I dont want the bumpers to look like they are seperate you know?

Got the console almost finished and then bought a hard top, so we have to start over with the console.

Upside down shot,

The plan was to finish out the CB box, It was going to be enclosed and a few changes made but never got back into the shop.

Top.

Tossed in a Tuffy box.

Relocated the air intake for my compressor to inside the cab.

Also built a Relay box mount for the Brake booster.

Wiring looks bad in these photos. I was test fitting still, now that is is all in wire loom and tucked in it looks much better, all wiring exits the rear of the box towards the firewall.

Have not done to much.. had the rear end re-built. Picked up a few items.

heat Reduction Hood, IMO best looking one on the market but maybe not the most functional.

Other thing was a roof rack. Not my first choice but Rugged Ridge Shepard, I wanted something a little different and that would be easy to modify for the cost it is a great frame to work with but not very functional as a rack.

Shop did a really great paint match.
