So after replacing the control module for my heat/ac and not getting any power to the blower motor, i noticed the connector was melted. It's a 3 prong plug, but the part store shows the 3 prong connector doesn't fit my 99 jeep wrangler tj. Also, will i need to replace the resistor?

This is the YJ forum, but there are tons of write ups out there for that on a TJ. I had to fix one I had I used to have as well.

As for the resistor, they're usually cheap enough that you should. Recently went through this with a Mercury. Plug cooked , melted and was close to burning. Resistor still worked , but the connections were cooked enough to be iffy and likely would have caused the new plug to fry.
