So last night i drove an hour to I get what I thought I was a toyota 4.10 8" rear axle But as I disassembled the axle I found out it was a 7.5" 3.07 axle. You can imagine I was extremely disappointed!! Luckily the guy said e would give me my $$ back So I'm still on the hunt for a 4cyl 4.10 5 lug 8" yota axle , but today I ditched class and repainted my fiberglass slider uppers to a tan trying to match my spice top only to have the color off AGAIN!! I'm OCD when it comes to this stuff so I'm never happy. Before. Flexin hard as you can see  After. Im gonna go and get a paint a few shades darker tonight
Almost should have painted the light brown instead of tan!

Took the jeep, and went out in the early rain to a new spot trying to slay some quail and I got skunked. 2 birds today, got 4 on Tuesday... The search for a new hunting spot continues

Pretty area tho about 15 min north of me. Found some cool, fairly moderate trails that would be a fun and scenic ride
Well that sure is some pretty scenery out there!

Daytime pic with the redone uppers (still not happy with them) and the aluminum panels. I'll see if I can have the photoshop guys work up some designs for the panels.

Also did a white smoke seafoam treatment for the neighbors with windows open lol :shhh:
What did those panels set you back? I was bummed when I found out they where a tj only deal!

Paint the rest of the top to match the uppers?
Looks good though! I want slider windows sooooooooooo bad!

Cheers
I looove full doors!

I would trade these for full doors in a heart beat!

I don't remember exactly, I got the panels when I got my yjotm gift cert. metalcloak a site says they're $19 ea
Thats not to bad.........I sold my origanl hard doors for 800 bones to fund my 8.8 and regreted it bad. I hated my half doors since when it was warm enough to run no uppers I would just run doorless!
Thd current doors I horse traded a set of tj shafts and old modded tj uppers I scored haha!

Well a month later, and a new-to-me knuckle donated by zte, new ball joint, new rotor, new thrush muffler, new idler pulley, as well as a step closer to my tummy tuck with a JKS MML and some BSERK 4" booms to bring the jeep down a little bit.

Took a little grinder motivation to get the lower BJ off

I never thought I would see the day... 8.8 is completed and the jeep is back in its cave. Had to rework the brake line mounts bc where it was initially welded would be the new bump stop stopper, which is no bueno so I bent up the brake line and moved it from between the ubolts to the inside of them. Had to use the center pin instead of the 1" due to gas tank clearance Ready for its maiden voyage!!!
it would make room for its self ask me how I know haha!

Just placed my order for IllumiNATION's rad new reVolution LED dual row light bar in a 10" flavor to sit up on the winch! I've been scoping out a new light setup for my jeep for a while now, checked out every option from the overpriced Rigids all the way to the cheapies on fleaBay but nothing really stood out for me to spend my money on. Those of you that have been watching my jeep progress know that I kept going back and forth on my lighting situation between my KC long range spots, my 288W 40" led bar and the two 18W 2x3 fog pods and just never found that perfect balance of light and distance. I'm pretty stoked on this. They actually combine a fog and spot optic into a one-of-a-kind design custom made in house by IllumiNATION LEDs I think these are going to be the ticket for all the Arizona night runs through nasty, tight, rocky washes and Moab's treacherous trails (which we will be night riding!) Check em out, here's the Link: http://www.illuminationleds.com/store/index.php?route=product/category&path=63_76 I'll do a review on them once they get here! Also putting in my order for the 8.8 spartan, lube locker, and SOLID diff cover soon!! COUNTDOWN TO MOAB!! 5 weeks
High five, I will add to your review when my revolution 50 inch light bar shows up!

Got my locker in the jeep, lube locker and solid cover on. Took it for a small shake down run and really didn't notice much difference.

I'm going to drive it around tomorrow and see how it handles on the road.

Is there a break in period for these? Should I not have wheeled it after only 1 mile of road use? Lol
No you are fine, now go beat it like you stole it!
