81 waggy front d44... so I have the R&P seals bearings installed. Now when I look at the parts fiche I see almost 400 dollars worth of more bearings and seals from the C out. Is that correct?!?!?

Probably about right I just did rear inner, outer seal , spacer and bearing for both rear axels on my Model 20…. Bill was $510 Canadian but that’s with $120 labor thou. As I don’t have a press to get them on off. Very stupid set up when you have to press bearing off to change seal!

The Rear AMC20 and Front 44 Bearings and seals are different, no press needed for the front 44

point was bearings are bearings, hence why I excluded the labour.
The cost sounds right to me for the 44

Don't replace them just to replace them.

Bearings show signs if they need to be replaced. Bluing or pitting of the rollers, loose bearing cages, etc.

There's only three bearings per side outside of the C and one seal. Inner and outer wheel bearings and the spindle bearing along with the seal outboard of the inner wheel bearing.
