This project is killing me!!!

Converting a 5 speed to auto so I bought a new pedal box. I assumed it was all there but now (after media blast and powder coat) it looks like it is missing the following.

Provision for the brake light switch on the box itself.

Pedal is missing the tab to activate the brake light switch

Missing a hole for the return spring.

Before I grind off the powder coating and weld what is needed is it SAFE to assume the auto and auto/clutch pedals work the same way?

Also, auto pedal box has a tab that is interfering with the steering column bracket. The manual pedal box doesn't have this tab. Any idea if this tab is needed?

Sorry guys but I also have some questions on fender brackets but will start a new thread.

Thanks for the pic. It looks like the old clutch/brake pedal box has what I need so I'll clean that one up and use it. I still need to add the lever that depress the switch on the auto brake pedal. Not sure why this is missing all that stuff but it should be easy enough to fabricate. I guess I should be more careful when buying parts on ebay.
