What did he break? axle shaft? You are obligated to share the video of the breakage:rtft:This was the best moment of all.....
All day long I kept telling my brother if he got stuck I would pull him out and at the end of the day, he broke his front axles on a Level 5 trail called "Ditch" (Top porion) and I had to pull him out. This was a video, but I did a print screen to get the still shot......his is a CJ5, which was same size as my YJ when it was stock....look at the difference now.....lol
I would check with Gilbert's Jeeps in Athens. He has many buildings full of parts or bodies with fenders and such, for just about all year model jeeps. I got my 95 tub from him for $400...good guy to deal with and good guy to know, when it comes to Jeeps. I would post his number, but do not ant him to get spammed......so just google Gilberts Jeeps and tell him Scott sent you, just so I can get more cudos with him......lolAnyone here in north al got some cj fenders that are pretty decent for sale?. Not having much luck looking other places
Yeah he broke the right front axle shaft, and they are 1 ton axles. Can I upload videos on this site? Do you want the one where he actually broke it, or the one of me pulling him out????What did he break? axle shaft? You are obligated to share the video of the breakage:rtft:
Welcome, watch it there at Ditto, some unsavory people around there.Hey guys, just thought to get on here to meet up with some people to go riding with.... I live in S. Huntsville. My TJ is still pretty stock for now, but I'm not afraid to get it dirty...
Please take that 3,000 lb winch and toss it in the trash. It's way too small for use on a Jeep and will only get someone seriously hurt.ok, call me Jeep crazy, but I just bought a 1995 YJ yesterday. YThey said it had a 6" rough country lift, but I am thinking it is a 4", but has brand new 33x12.5's, 4.0l/5spd and a small 3000lb winch. Also have a 1990 YJ that we will be putting a motor in next month, it is for a friend of mine at work, but now I have three YJ's and a tub sitting at my house, not to mention my sons Blazer.....lol
Yes, difinately....I figure I can sale it to someone who has a four wheeler or something......Please take that 3,000 lb winch and toss it in the trash. It's way too small for use on a Jeep and will only get someone seriously hurt.
*IF* it works, you might as well recover some of your $$.Yes, difinately....I figure I can sale it to someone who has a four wheeler or something......
Yeah, I just heard about that recently, that's unfortunate. Kind of got an idea of it after I got back there a ways and saw a little bit of the evidence.unlblkrubi said:Welcome, watch it there at Ditto, some unsavory people around there.
There is a reason why I charge a good bit to pull people out at ditto. Legally you can go to Hale Mt ORP, I love the place. There are some other places, but you have to know the secret handshake to get to them.:rtft:Yeah, I just heard about that recently, that's unfortunate. Is there a better place around here to go?
lol, yeah it works...believe it or not we used it to pull him out of a pretty deep rut, that he decided to go across, instead of going through....lol. Between my bumper on his spare and my friend pulling with his Pathfinder, he got across it......lol*IF* it works, you might as well recover some of your $$.
I added kickers on Monday. It was hell working on the driver front! But sounds great!BamaJeepman21 said:I haven't been in here for awhile. I haven't done any wheeling lately. Just ordered a new sound system for the Jeep. Hopefully it can all be in by mid next week.
