I was there. Part of the left hook with the 18TH Field Artillery Brigade Airborne. Hung out for a few weeks at the S.A.N.G. compound before heading out into Iraq. My battery guarded A.S.P. Skippy during 10 days of rain and 33 degree weather, and was firing an expend all ammo fire mission when the cease fire came over the radio.
