Hey everyone,
I'm new around here so I wanted to say hi to and let everyone know what I have in the works. I really appreciate any input so please feel free to comment or ask questions as I will be updating this thread throughout the build process. I have a 2001 WJ Limited with the upcountry package that I bought in April or this year(2010). I paid $6500 with 105,000 miles on it.

I'm a huge snowboarder and make several trips out to Colorado every year and always drive to bring all of my gear, so I put a ton of miles on my cars. I have run into a few issues since purchasing the vehicle(New timing belt, O2 sensor, water pump, radiator hoses, power steering pump, and I the front Differential seized up on a trip back from Colorado 2 weeks ago which was no fun and cost 1700 to fix..) but when you consider I have already put close 20K miles on it since I bought it 7 months ago I'm not too upset. After about a month or so I started with the audio/visual part of my build and that took most of the summer to get all of that completed.Here are the specs:
Alpine INA-w900 navigation unit
2 9-inch headrest LCD's
Alpine PDX-F4 125w x 4 Multi-channel Digital amplifier
Alpine Type - X Component Interior Speakers
Alpine PDX-M12 1200w x 1 Digital Mono Sub Amplifier

Just finished reading all 140 pages of your build. Definitely kept me busy over the past week. All I have to say is your jeep's transformation has been awesome! Everything is well done and it is always tasteful.
Keep working on your jeep and taking the trips while you have the means. It has been awesome to see.

NO problem... The front shaft is stock and I ended up getting a Twoods double cv for the rear...

Havent been driving the jeep the past few days... My axle side front UCA bushings are shot after all the wheeling on the trip and My rear axle has been making some noises. I think my bent axle shaft is finally starting to take its toll on the wheel bearing... Ordered a new shaft on monday from ECGS so as soon as that gets here im going to swap the shaft and front bushings...
Right now Im also working trying to get some funds together for another trip so hopefully il be able to figure it all out!! I may have a few prints sold so if that works out I will for sure!!! Plan is to run the Rubicon in the fall!!!!
on a side note...
Here's a couple images I have been working on for my portfolio... I shot them close to my place here in Chicago over the past week. People like to buy pics of the Chicago skyline, so I wanna have a whole skyline series to offer... Going to print them on a 10x30 canvas so its nice and large... Cant wait to see what they look like!! What do you guys think...? Id love some feedback!! :thumbsup:

Sick photos man, they really capture Chicago well.
If you start to really put out some prints and whatnot, I'll have to talk to my uncle and brother. They both live downtown and love stuff like this. If it wasn't too pricey I could see them buying some!
