Hello everyone,

I have had an account on this site for awhile now, but I have not been too involved. I have a build thread on Jeep Garage, but I felt as though I could use more feedback and wanted to also contribute to this forum. I am now 17 years old and this Jeep has become my life; I wouldn't have it any other way. I will not directly copy and paste from there to here, I will have them both be original. The only similarities will be the pictures. Anyways, here are some specs:

It is a light khaki 2005 WK rockin' the 5.7L. I have done many modifications to it, but I won't spoil anything yet.

The first thing I knew I had to do was a lift install. I did a lot of looking around and decided that Rocky Road Outfitters was the best option. The installation was more than I had expected, and hoped, but it was well worth it. I got it with the RRO shocks, which work well for now, and painted them red right away. (As I also did with the OEM tow hooks)

Here it is after the lift:

As you can see... It was really in need of something... Something beefier.

The next simple mod was the 2" wheel spacers supplied by Rocky Road Outfitters. The install was easy and took less than 15 minutes. They were of very high quality and I was very happy with them.

Here is probably my favorite addition up to date, new tires. After a lot of looking and asking, I was most confident in BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO 33" tires.

Next up on the list were my calipers. They were beyond rusty, so I took my Dremel and cleaned them up as good as I could. From there, I used:

-Rustoleum High Heat Primer.
-Rustoleum Caliper Paint Kit.

The kit is great and I would definitely recommend it. The only thing was the paint brush. You may want to get a higher quality one if this product is an option.

I decided that the grille needed a new look and since I knew I wanted to paint my wheels a satin black in the future, I did the grille that color too. You'll also see that the Plasti Dip eyelid mod was done. I did the grille using:

-Rustoleum Self Etching Primer.
-Rustoleum Flat Black Protective Enamel.
-Rustoleum Matte Clear.

A little while ago I ordered a set of Aspen Creek windshield light mounts and used them to mount my IPF 868 Series lamps. They came out great and the quality of both products surpassed expectations.

To install the light mounts, you simply unbolt the hood and rebolt it with the mounts applied and with the included longer bolts:

I drilled a small hole here to keep the wires clean and out of the way:

There is also plenty of clearance for the windshield when the hood is opened:

Here is all of the wiring done:

A piece of this plastic moulding was cut to allow the wires to travel under it:

And here is the switch for the lights:

I could not tell you why I have not been involved in my own build thread lately... I have been very hard at work with my Jeep and a lot has been done, so if you will all accept my apology, I would like to bring my own thread back to life!

I will do my best to start off from where I left off and work in order from there.

My next upgrade was my carbon fiber interior overhaul. I simply used some 3M Carbon Fiber Vinyl that I got for around $20 to do this:

Doing this was an extremely simple process of laying the vinyl down and cutting it. I took all of the trim off first, though.

Next up, some debadging and rebadging! I have a few more decals on there now, but here are a few:

From there I did some more interior work; this time with Oracle Lighting. I ordered a set of SMD strips to go in my footwells. They exceeded expectations to say the least...

And I also replaced the small glove box bulb with an Oracle LED bulb.

I plan on doing some future upgrades with Oracle Lighting. I have found their products are pretty useful and a lot of different things can be done with them.

I eventually got to painting my wheels a satin black. I really love the way they look, I just have a concern with the durability of them. I chipped a very small area around the lugs when putting one of the wheels on, so I am going to apply another coat, or two, of clear coat when I get my new lug nuts. Anyway, here is what I used and how it came out:

-Rustoleum Self Etching Primer.
-Rustoleum High Performance Wheel.
-Rustoleum Matte Clear.

During black Friday, I got my hands on one of these for a great price.

I absolutely love this tuner. It has served me so well and being the Android fan that I am, it couldn't be easier. The difference is pretty crazy compared to what I thought I was going to get outta this little guy. I would definitely recommend it.

Definitely worthy of some badges!

Around the holidays, I also got my hands on some nicer Flexomat floor liners. They are definitely nicer than the generic ones I had previously.

Around this time, I also installed a PAC Audio AUX cord adapter. I haven't gotten any images of that up yet, but I wired a Hossa 6' AUX cord to the arm rest which is working out pretty well. I will get some pictures of that up pretty soon!

This next mod has to be my favorite and I finished it up only a few days ago. I installed Oracle CCFL demon eyes in my headlights and fogs. I also Plasti Dipped some angry eyes on the headlights.

These CCFL's are crazy! They stand out so much, and although the install took some time and patience, I love them to death!

That's just about it for now. I promise I'll take better care of this thread and maintain it properly! Now that I don't have to rememebr everything I did, I will also add more description to the posts. I have a lot more planned. I have some Bilstein 5100 struts coming in the mail that I'm pairing with a RRO Trim Packer kit and I am also replacing my steering rack very soon. In March I will be looking to get a new bumper or probably The Steel Armadillo's Keystone Brush Guard.
