So i am going to change my engine oil and am a bit confused about which one to buy well I know it should be 5w 30 API SN SM but in my local auto part store which has most stuff for VAG group cars and Volvo has 5w 30 but I’m different variants that some are a lot more expensive than the others and yes they are all synthetic and the same brand (Biltema). Some say Low ash low saps on them and some have different car brand specifications. Last time I used Mercedes oil which worked. There is also 10w 30 however it is only available as mineral oil which I wouldn’t dare to use. Does it really matter which one I pick as long as it at least says API SN 5w 30 on it???
